Luella Decker, home again after serving her sentence just wants to sell her property move on, and hopefully find some peace. That’s if whomever is sabotaging her every move doesn’t manage to kill her first. Ellis Eaton is firmly on Lu’s side, and if he can find a way to finally make her his he will. Even if she doesn’t want his help with what’s going on she’s getting it.
Boy is this a twisty book. There’s loads going on from the get go, and as for the villains, well they are something else. It’s quite emotional too, when things are revealed on what was done to Lu by the one person you’d think would be her biggest supporter. I loved this read as much as the first one, and can’t wait to see what the author has in store for the eldest Eaton sibling.
