Lovers or liars? Anything to solve a murder.
Lovers or liars? Anything to solve a murder.
Laura Colton knows how to give homicide detective Noah Steele an all-access pass to her family’s luxury resort. Posing as her tattooed rock-star boyfriend, he can investigate the murder of his sister, Allison, who was also Laura’s best friend. But Laura finds the fake relationship as emotionally difficult as a real one. Wealthy and poised, she and rough-edged Noah are worlds apart. Who will believe they’re lovers? Or is their deception becoming the real thing? In either case, now she faces a real danger—that Allison’s killer is targeting her.

Would love to read more about Noah and Laura…
What was really fun about this book was my name was used for a character. My name is not real common. My husband is in a band! This made this book even more exciting and fun for me.
There is nothing better than a who-done it murder, volunteering to go undercover with a hot cop and having steamy sex with your “rockstar boyfriend”. This book covers it all and even has a few moments of tears. Would love to read more about Noah and Laura.

Well Worth Reading!
I enjoyed this read. It started with a death. While a touch jarring, it was the key to the entire plot. Once Noah (the MMC) and Laura (the FMC) began their “fake romance,” everything came together nicely.
The things I liked about it … I loved the characters. All of them were heartwarming and easy to like. I enjoyed the location and the descriptions that came in small bits throughout the story. And that leads to the main thing I enjoyed in the book; how the author spread out the descriptions we needed for the people and place throughout the story without it feeling like info dumping.
I enjoyed it as a romance. And most importantly, it made me want to read the sequels, because you know there will be sequels … well worth reading!
