Another in the Fairhope, Alabama series, in which we meet former SEAL Gavin Savitt, who comes home having lost most of his sight, but not his heart. A woman he knew before he left town was Mavis Bracken, but she’s not just his best friend’s little sister that she was then. Oh, she still has a woo-woo sense about her insofar as she seems to see things others don’t.

Enjoyable! Amber Leigh Williams
Amber Leigh Williams writes pulse-pounding romantic suspense, historical fiction, and contemporary romance. When she’s not writing, she enjoys traveling and being outdoors with her family and dogs. She is fluent in sarcasm and is known to hoard books like the book dragon she is. An advocate for literacy, she is an ardent supporter of libraries and the constitutional right to read.

His Rebel Heart is the second book I’ve read by Ms. Williams. It’s in the Fairhope, Alabama series, and shares a lot of the same characters with the other book I’ve read from it, Married One Night …and, as it turns out, some similar characteristics as well. Namely a highly sympathetic hero and […]
What was really fun about this book was my name was used for a character. My name is not real common. My husband is in a band! This made this book even more exciting and fun for me. There is nothing better than a who-done it murder, volunteering to go […]
A great read full of suspense, family, love and murder. It was one of those books that the further you got into it the less you wanted to put it down.
A intriguing mystery….loved the undercover aspect. There are lots of spicy moments! Throw in romance, murder and lots of suspense Overall, a great romantic suspense that will keep you engaged throughout the story.

Colton’s Last Resort is a well-written storyline with a plot that ebbs and flows effortlessly between the suspenseful action and the emotional drama that surrounds the characters who are interesting and relatable I look forward to book #2 in this series.
