From the very first two words in this book, I was hooked. Something about that line was nostalgic so I had to jump right into the story. Admittedly, this book is a bit of a departure for me as it has been some time since i read a story set against the western terrain. With that said, I almost gave up but for those 2 words and the feeling they invoked.

A great read full of suspense, family, love and murder. It was one of those books that the further you got into it the less you wanted to put it down.
