I enjoyed the story. Luella has just been released from prison and is ready to leave the town behind her and have a fresh start. Ellis and Luella have a history together and Ellis thought that Luella didn’t show up when she was suppose to and then her mother told him that Luella didn’t want to see him anymore. This story is full of lies and betrayal by one that should love her. A great second chance story.

A great read full of suspense, family, love and murder. It was one of those books that the further you got into it the less you wanted to put it down.
